The beauty of  cigars and rum pairing never stops been amazing they always grow to be exceptional.This year with an array of more and more releases of rum i just to had to go through the journey of rums that could go down well with the amazing arrays of cigars across the world.

Sometime back having tasted some impressive cigars here are my thoughts on it.Alec bradley Connecticut cigar torpedo has notes of  milders smoke ,with tastes of cream ,tea ,orange and woody finish .
This cigar works well with  aged rhums from Guadeloupe that does share alot of the notes of herbal but with body.














Alec bradley is a mild bodied cigar from Honduras however its wrapper come from a tiny community of hardworking folk in Ecuador .

The Alec bradley goes well with plantation oftd ,real maccoy 12 years and rhum barbancourt 15 years

When reviewing its body and complexity i would give it an 8/10 and for its price at around 9 dollars a piece this is a great starter for those that would love to enjoy pairings .

The Oliva Serie V Torpedo is a very full bodied cigar with notes of nuts ,maple and a bouquet of dried fruit .
Oliva comes from Nicaragua  and retails at around 10 dollars .On pairing it i will recommend Appleton 21 for starters but if money is not a thing for you  then do try pair it  with the 25 year release .

Oliva series appeals  to house of angostura 1787, Appleton 21  and rons like Havana 15 .

CULTURAL LIQUOR FROM EAST AFRICA. Historically while in Africa modern distillation took place post independence it is important to note that this by any ways it did not mean that there was no liquor in the communities in the continent.Actually  what is interesting to note is that liquor was there in different communities and was held in high regard.This is because it was the old folks that took to making this potent brews that where appreciated by the communities during different events that they took to.It is this community blenders that where able to maintain and ensure quality checks the youth where just sourced to collecting the ingredients.This art was pass down from father to son to the next generation.
